Three national parks in a day.

The initial plan was for me to ride the Varadero while Roger took his vehicle. As you can see in the photo he is prepared for a two month multi-activity adventure. Motorbiking, hiking, glacier travel, bicycling, wilderness river canoeing and camping.

It felt good to get some miles on the Varadero on day one and two. Nice weather and fabulous scenery through Kootenay, Banff Parks and  finally to a camp spot just outside of Jasper where Rog mixes a tasty gin and tonic. The next day was new territory for me turning North at Hinton and following highway 40 North to Grand Prairie. Ran into a torrential downpour at Grand Cache, but the waterproof gear worked well.
