Canoeing the "Dreaded Takhini"

Following Roger Mitchell in the Yukon is like adult disneyland without commercialism but still complete with smutty humour and farting.

Yesterday three of us put in near Kuzuwa Lake and paddled the Takhini river - Roger is an experienced canoeing guide so was an excellent coach.
Along the river we stopped to visit a fascinating couple who live off the road and off the grid but on the river. Nice welcoming folk!

And the rapids ( the Jaws of Death)  had my butterflies active  but we sailed through pretty easily with an eddy turn at the bottom - very exhiliarating!
