Flight in a Staggerwing

Imagine flying over the mountains and arctic tundra at 160 knots in a restored 1943 Staggerwing biplane.

Yup, thanks to the generosity of Rog's friend John Faulkner, that's what I had the good fortune to experience for an hour the day before yesterday.

We flew into the mountains south and west of Whitehorse and it took my breath away. Here are some pics.
