Upon arriving in Grand Prairie – the land of highway strips with multinational fast food places, Rog and I met at the Costco parking lot and lunched at MacDonalds!
Foreseeing a long stretch of divided, straight and less than inspiring road ahead, we loaded the bike on the trailer to head for Dawson Creek and the first leg of the Alaska Highway.
